It's always lovely to receive an invitation for something hat-related in the lead-up to the Spring Racing Carnival. But how about the opportunity to make one's own hat, surrounded by fresh flowers and under the guidance of a top milliner? That's just what happened when Victoria Racing Club and Yellowglen sent out invites for an exclusive millinery workshop, hosted by Myer milliner Kerrie Stanley, held at QV's Flower Temple. It's true that none of us will probably end up wearing our designs, but no matter - it was a great way to celebrate the season.
