The Meatball & Wine Bar's First Birthday

I wrote about The Meatball & Wine Bar in The Age when I told readers how to get a New York experience without leaving Melbourne. Going super-strong after a year, MWB's city venue - CityBalls - in Flinders Lane held their first birthday party, celebrating the fact that they've successfully delivered over 80 types of meatballs (go figure) to customers since they've opened. And if you thought meatballs sounded, well, boring, then consider this: one recent special was a Wagyu beef ball with buttered edamame and wasabi aioli.
